I think I understand. I think it makes sense. Batman is very righteous. He has the philanthropy as Bruce Wayne and feels passionately about helping others, while at the same time, he's a fucking nut. You'd have to be to dress up as a bat and wander around at night looking for crime and making plans for 'just in case this were to happen' or 'just in case that were to happen'. You know the ones. The ones that always get stollen and used against him.
